Join QUE on July 14 at Independence Beer Garden!

Queer Urbanist Exchange (QUE) is invites you to join our monthly meet up at Independence Beer Garden (100 S Independence Mall West, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106) on Tuesday July 14 at 5:30 pm. Though outside, there are areas that are covered in case of rain.

We’re going to do brief updates on all of our projects. If you’re interested in seeing more, check out our Meeting Notes from our last meeting. We created a summary for each project which included a description and highlights of what the next steps are. We will also look at the happy hour and say what we liked and what could make it better next time and start planning the next large mixer.

Young Involved Philadelphia is hosting a Commercial Corridor Tour of Manayunk this Saturday, 6/27 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This tour will include stops along the corridor where business owners will share their personal stories of why they chose their current location, how they set up shop, and what they see for the future of the neighborhood.

We’ll be stopping and speaking with owners of the Little Apple, the Spiral Bookcase, Nicole Miller, and more! We’ll end a Bourbon Blue (where the first drink will be on us).
