Salary Range – $33,900 – $36,480 Annually
Perform State-mandated reviews, including sewage facilities planning modules, the environmental component of subdivision and land development plans, and other regulatory programs as required; assist with the preparation of environmental components of municipal and/or multi-municipal comprehensive plans. Participate in PA Coastal Zone Management Program activities, including planning and providing support for local projects funded by the state’s programs. Provide technical assistance to municipalities and the public concerning environmental issues. Provide general information and technical assistance to municipal officials and the public; perform related duties as required and/or directed.
Bachelor’s degree in planning, environmental science, urban studies, landscape architecture or related field, plus one year of applicable work experience. Ability to work in a team environment on a wide range of projects involving both public and private interests is essential. Excellent written, oral, and graphic communication skills; research skills; organizational and time management skills; familiarity with the planning process at the local level. Driver’s license is preferred.
