Last year, more than 7,000 visitors spent a rewarding, educational day at Temple University Ambler celebrating the importance of protecting the environment and preserving their futures. Hosted by the Temple University Center for Sustainable Communities, the mission of EarthFest is to promote environmental awareness using sustainable concepts, methods and practices to protect and preserve our environment.  Organizations, businesses, students of all ages, and individuals demonstrate sustainable concepts and technologies through interactive educational displays, activities, and much more!

Continuing a multi-year tradition, APAPA-SE will be hosting a booth at EarthFest 2015 with educational materials related to the planning profession.  We are looking for volunteers to help staff the booth for either the full event, a portion of the event, or even just the setup period (begins around 8:00 AM).  It is a great opportunity to share our profession with others while spending the day outside in a festival atmosphere. If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact John Federico at jefederico@urbanengineers.com.
