These one-day workshops are designed to give you a short introductory experience to many of our popular subjects. They provide a quick sample that can help you select a full course or allow you to explore a new subject that intrigues you. Free lunch is included for all participants.

  • Wednesday, May 14, at 8:30 a.m. — Plenary session Looking into the Crystal Ball: What Will the Future Bring?, a panel discussion with Jeremy Nowak, Susan Wachter, and Mark Zandi
  • Wednesday, May 14, at 12:30 p.m. — Closing keynote address by Leigh Gallagher

Design on the Delaware Proposal Deadline Extended to May 2

Share your expertise, experience, and leadership in the design and building industry by presenting a program or tour at the 12th Annual Design on the Delaware Conference in Philadelphia.

AIA Philadelphia is accepting program proposals for the 2014 Design on the Delaware conference taking place November 12 -14, 2014, at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown Hotel and Center for Architecture. This multi-disciplinary conference for architects, planners, landscape architects, engineers, and other design and building professionals features four keynotes speakers, 36 professional education programs, three days of tours and a full day design charrette.

Deadline for proposals has been extended to Friday, May 2.  Submissions must meet the guidelines as outlined in the Call for Programs. To download the Call for Programs, visit www.designonthedelaware.com.

April 10: Emerging Professionals Tour of Woodlands Cemetery

Join APAPASE’s Emerging Professionals for a guided tour of The Woodlands, Philadelphia’s historic cemetery, on Thursday, April 10th from 5:30-7pm. The event will start with a pre-tour drink in the historic neoclassical mansion and will be followed by a tour of the grounds. Woodland Cemetery is the final resting place for many prominent Philadelphians, including Paul Cret and Thomas Eakins.

The cost of the tour will be $10.
