The Old City District, in its role as a special services district and Registered Community Organization, is embarking on the development of a neighborhood master plan to set a framework for private development and a high-quality public realm.
Together with more objective research on market trends, transportation access, and the physical form of buildings and sidewalks, we wanted to get direct input from Old City residents, businesses, workers, and visitors about what makes the neighborhood great and not so great, plus what would make it a little better, or even a little worse. This brief survey should only take about five minutes to complete. Please encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to participate.
Please join us on Tuesday, June 23rd at the Arch Street Meeting House for a public open house between 5-8 pm where existing conditions and initial assessments will be presented. This will also present and opportunity for residents, visitors, and workers to share their ideas, challenges, and aspirations. After continued stakeholder engagement, planning will conclude in the fall, and the implementation process will begin.
